Is HoloVault free to use?
Yes — every feature is free, with no ads and no card details asked for. The AI features run on a fair-use quota that refreshes on a rolling 30-day window; the rest of the app is unmetered. Two optional one-off purchases exist, and neither unlocks a feature: a Deck Report for a single deck, and a bundle of extra Deck Coach messages. The coach runs on the same model whether you have paid or not — buying only adds messages, never better answers.
How does the phone scanner work?
Open HoloVault in your mobile browser, point the camera at any Star Wars Unlimited card, and it is recognised from its set code and card number. No app download. If two printings match the scan, you pick the right one before it is added.
Which sets and card variants are supported?
Every set ever printed for Star Wars Unlimited. HoloVault counts standard, foil and showcase printings separately, and the deck builder supports both the Premier and Eternal formats.
What does the AI actually do?
Inside the deck builder it recommends bases and cards for the leader you picked, ranking them alongside the tournament meta data and flagging the core cards your archetype is missing.
Can I import a collection from another platform?
Yes. Drop in a CSV with Set, CardNumber, Count and IsFoil columns and it imports in one pass; anything ambiguous is queued for a quick review first. You can also use the phone scanner or add cards by name, set or card number.
How do I find out which cards I am missing?
Three ways. The Missing Cards tab breaks set completion down per expansion; the deck builder lists the core cards your chosen archetype needs, ranked by impact; and every deck keeps a wishlist with Cardmarket trend prices and a running total.
Can I test a deck before taking it to a table?
Yes. Each deck has an opening-hand simulator: deal a hand, mulligan, resource two cards for setup and play out turns, with a read on how playable the hand is. You can include wishlisted cards to see how the finished list would play.
What is ForceTable and how does the export work?
ForceTable is an online playtesting platform for Star Wars Unlimited. HoloVault's one-click export pushes your deck there instantly — no copy-pasting a decklist. You can also export any deck as a high-res PNG.
Can I sell or trade my spare cards?
Yes. Price any card in your collection in your own currency, give the listing an end date, and share one public link — or its QR code. Buyers browse your stock, see which copies they already own, and put a request together to send you.
